Our local state parks are a lasting symbol and testament of the place thousands of people over generations have cherished. By donating a memorial park bench, you can ensure that your loved one's memory lives on so that many more generations can enjoy our Sierra State Parks.
Your solid redwood bench will include a custom brass plaque with an inscription or quote and will be placed at a meaningful park location of your choosing in coordination with state park staff.
The minimum $7,500 donation honorarium will provide this meaningful tribute at either Donner Memorial, Kings Beach, Sugar Pine Point, Emerald Bay or DL Bliss State Park. Allow nine months for construction and permits. We are limited to offering seven benches per year. 2024 requests are now being accepted.
Proceeds benefit the work of the Sierra State Parks Foundation.
