Discover the micro-beauties of the Sierra
In partnership with the Sierra Club and TINS, join us in learning more about the wildflowers that we see in the Washoe Meadows State Park. This event is being led by the Tahoe Institute for Natural Sciences. This walk is considered easy with the trails in Washoe Meadows State Park being relatively flat and we are planning to be out there for 1-2 hours. Due to this being an outdoor educational hike, 1 registration is for 1 person along with an accompanied waiver. We recommend bringing walkable shoes, water bottles, sunscreen, and snacks. Any naturalist guides and binoculars would be great! More information will be sent out the week of the event, and we require a registration for this event due limited capacity.
Instructions: Please read the waiver before registering for your spot. By clicking the purchase button, you agree to the terms and conditions of the waiver.
Carpool: Please try to carpool if you know of another person or group attending event due to limited space in parking area.
Note: Carpool transportation is at the sole risk of the participants.
