Full Moon Kayak Tour - August 2024

The Sierra State Parks Foundation is partnering with West Shore Sports to offer a unique kayak tour along the shore of Sugar Pine Point State Park. The tour will take place between the highest elevation operational lighthouse in the U.S. to the park's southern boundary overlooking Meeks Bay. State Park staff will provide insight into the region's cultural and natural history under the full moon! The cost of the tour is $50, which includes parking, the kayak rental, mandatory life jackets, and safety training. No experience is necessary. This is a fundraiser supporting educational programs in the parks. Sorry, no refunds. Attendees should arrive at 7:00 p.m. to pick up rentals. The tour begins at 7:30 p.m. and lasts an hour and a half. Recommended for ages 12 and up. This tour is limited. Buy your tickets early to secure your kayak!

Registration for Sierra State Parks Foundation events and activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to use and distribute (both now and in the future) of the registrant's image or voice in photographs, videos and electronic reproductions of such events and activities by SSPF.
