Knights of the Round Courtyard 2020

Learn and live the way of the knights!
Knights in armor will clash on the field of Vikingsholm this summer, in a festive demonstration of chivalry and skill, as Scott Farrell and Loreen Mattis, from San Diego’s Chivalry Today Educational Program, present a demonstration of medieval armored fencing. Attendees will get an up-close look at reproductions of medieval arms and armor, as Scott and Loreen discuss the history and design of armor for battle and tournament in the Middle Ages, and put on a live demonstration of historically accurate dueling with sword, spear, and other 15th-century weaponry.
Guests will be delighted with a twilight reception in the courtyard with wine and hors d'oeuvres during this special program.Tickets are $50 ($45 for SSPF members) and include the wonderful opportunity to drive down into Emerald Bay.
Seating is limited to 30 guests, a reservation is required.
Registration for Sierra State Parks Foundation events and activities constitutes an agreement by the registrants to use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant's image or voice in photographs, video and electronic reproductions of such events and activities by SSPF.
